Earlier this month, Ieng Sary, one of the founders of the notorious Khmer Rouge, the brutal Communist organization that ruled Cambodia in the 1970s, died at the age of 87. He was in the midst of standing trial with two other high-ranking Khmer Rouge officials for the estimated 1.7 million deaths that occurred during their rule. Now, the trial continues, even as the defendants age and die off. Can justice still be done?
