Ukraine says it plans to ask the United Nations (UN) for a peacekeeping mission in the Donbass region in the country’s East – the setting for ongoing fighting between government forces and Russian-backed rebels. Russia recently banned the import of some Ukrainian foods. In response, Ukraine issued its own ban on Russian goods. We’ll ask Anders Aslund, if there is any room for compromise. He’s senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and author of the book, Ukraine: What Went Wrong and How to Fix It.
