Earlier this year Quebec became the first province in Canada to adopt right-to die legislation. The law legalizes doctor-assisted death in the cases of fatal illness and is part of a comprehensive package that addresses end of life issues, including palliative care. We’ll talk with Véronique Hivon, a member of the National Assembly of Quebec, who sponsored the bill.
