Brad Jeffrey founded CAUSEGEAR to help alleviate poverty among some of the world’s most vulnerable people: former slaves. After a conversation with a woman about her very low income in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Jeffrey developed a “5X Jobs” model that provides workers with pay that’s five times the norm. That means it’s enough to support a whole family. CAUSEGEAR’s line of accessories and clothing is changing the lives of former slaves and people vulnerable to exploitation in India.
