Anthony Rizzo is only 26, but he’s like the “old veteran” on a team where the average age is 22 and a half. The guys look to him as a team leader. He’s led with his attitude, his glove, and his bat. This year, Rizzo had 31 homers, 101 RBI’s, and 163 hits. He also led the majors by being hit by pitches 30 times. The last few years have been tough for the Cubs; they lost a lot of games during the team’s rebuilding process. Rizzo tells WBEZ sports contributor Cheryl Raye Stout that all that losing was hard on him, but he believes the team has truly turned a corner. (Flickr/Ben Grey)
