A Northwest Indiana town is celebrating one of its own taking home a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. 

Blake Pieroni, a 2014 graduate of Chesterton High School, took home the gold on Sunday as part of the men’s 400-meter relay team — a team which included decorated Olympian Michael Phelps.
