With more than four decades of theater under his belt, Ronald Keaton has proven himself both dependable and versatile at such venues as the Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Drury Lane, Theater Wit and many others. He had great success off-Broadway with his latest work, and he’s brought it back to Chicago. It’s called Churchill, and in the Greenhouse Theater production, Keaton becomes Winston Churchill for 90 minutes, taking audiences through the ups, downs, history-making moments and hilarious quips of one of the 20th century’s pivitol figures. Ron Keaton joins us now to talk about the piece and his work with Solo Chicago, a group dedicated to furthering the art of solo theater. (Churchill Play)
