The Trump administration has drastically reduced the number of refugees the U.S. accepts each year.
In fiscal year 2018, the U.S. allowed around 22,500 refugees into the country. That was a 60 percent drop from the last year of the Obama administration.
The shift in policy is complicating matters at RefugeeOne, the largest resettlement agency in Illinois.
