Chicago unveils the five pillars of its 2022 Climate Action Plan

After a planning process that included multiple rounds of community engagement, Mayor Lori Lightfoot unveiled the five pillars of its 2022 Climate Action Plan on Friday. The roadmap sets a goal of reducing emissions in Chicago 62% by 2040 by retrofitting buildings, investing in renewable energy and reducing waste.
