The 35th annual Chicago Gospel Fest was supposed to begin today. The covid-19 crisis has stopped the festival, but it Gospel music has gone through a number of stylistic changes over the decades. Chicago’s Adrian Dunn is taking some of the earliest traditions in the genre and giving them a 21st century voice.
