The Chicago-based group Funkadesi combines East Indian music with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean sounds. The group started 20 years ago and its members are as diverse as the music they play.
This weekend they’ll celebrate their multicultural roots in a concert at Old Town School of Folk Music.
