The Bears held their regular practice on Thursday, but Safety Chris Harris was not on the field. This is the second day in a row that Harris has sat out practice due to a hip pointer. Bears fans are hoping the veteran safety will be healthy enough to play in the NFC Championship on Sunday against the Packers.

WBEZ’s Cheryl Raye Stout caught up with Harris in the locker room for a quick one-on-one interview. Harris says he’s “100 percent certain” he’s playing.

Harris was a starter on the 2006 Chicago Bears. He was traded to the Carolina Panthers after the Super Bowl. This past off-season, Harris was traded back to the Bears where he has become a leader of the dominating defense.
