- Over the weekend more than a 150 countries reached a deal to reduce emissions of a powerful chemical used in refrigeration and air conditioning. It’s part of an effort to combat climate change.
- On today’s World History Minute: The Arab Oil Embargo began on October 17th, 1973, when five Arab countries announced they’d stop selling oil to countries that supported Israel.
