The state of public health in communities with diverse populations is generally considered unbalanced. When dissecting the disparity of public health in a city as diverse as Chicago, DePaul University and the Center for Community Health Equity examine the issue through the lens of social injustice. DePaul welcomes local health and community experts Friday at its Health Disparities and Social Justice Conference to shed light on how race and other factors affect health care in Chicago.
