Cook County Asks Residents For Name Suggestions For New Fertilizer

Cook County is asking residents to submit name suggestions for a new fertilizer. It’s made from biosolids the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District sorts from materials flushed down toilets and drains. Mariyana Spyropoulos  is with the MWRD. She says the biosolid is high quality, can be used in home gardening, and could generate revenue for the county. WBEZ’s Max Green reports.
