The February primary is less than two weeks away. Democrat candidates for Cook County board president are making their final push to raise more money.

So far, Chicago Alderman Toni Preckwinkle took in more money in 2010 than any other Democratic candidate for Cook County board president. According to the latest campaign finance reports, Preckwinkle raised more than $164,000 dollars.

Behind her in fundraising strength is Metropolitan Water Reclamation District President Terry O’Brien.

Incumbent Todd Stroger raised $115,000. More than 85 percent of that came from the group Citizens for Emil Jones.

County Clerk of Courts Dorothy Brown raised the least amount of money this year.
