COVID-19 Update: Chicago Extends Its Stay-At-Home Order

Statewide, more than 1,000 residents have died from COVID-19 in just the first 10 days of January.

Illinois has lost more than 1,000 residents to COVID-19 in the first 10 days of January alone — that’s an average of more than 100 deaths per day. This comes as cases continue rising in Chicago, which has just extended its stay-at-home advisory.
