CPS: Parents Must Choose Between Hybrid Or Remote Learning By Friday

Parents have until Aug. 7 to decide whether to enroll their kids in a hybrid learning plan or keep them out of school with online learning.

Under Chicago Public Schools’ reopening plan, students in most grades would go to class at least twice a week starting Sept. 8. Now, parents and guardians have until Friday to decide if they’re going to opt in to the hybrid plan or keep their children at home for remote learning.

Reset checks in with WBEZ’s Sarah Karp for more on the district’s fast approaching deadline. We also open the phones to hear listeners’ thoughts and concerns about the reopening plan.
