Some Chicago Public School teachers are refusing to administer students the Illinois Standards Achievement Test, or ISAT. They say their boycott of the test is inspired by parents who feel it creates undue stress on students, and places too much emphasis on test taking and not enough value on instruction time. CPS’ Chief of Accountability John Barker reacts to the teachers’ boycott.
