- Holland Taylor’s Ann is opening on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont Theater, reports the New York Times, in March of 2013. The show was in Chicago last fall.

- The Actors’ Equity Association will get a special Jeff award on October 15 “in recognition of their contributions to Chicagoland theatre. In addition to this year being their 100th anniversary, AEA was the original impetus in organizing the formation of a Chicago area theatre award program, which became the Jeff Awards.” In case it wasn’t clear, the AEA is a union for actors and stage managers.
