2. Steppenwolf is hosting a staged reading of Will the Circle Be Unbroken: Death, Rebirth, and Hunger for a Faith on May 21 with the Studs Terkel Centenary Committee to celebrate Terkel’s 100th birthday. 4. National Dance week ends Sunday, but you can squeak in a viewing of InASdE Chicago Dance debuting three world premieres in their Inaside Chicago Dance Project at the Athenaeum on Saturday night.

5. Oh man here’s a portion of Hedy Weiss’ 1990 review of the last time Bob Falls directed The Iceman Cometh at the Goodman, when Brian Dennehy was in a slightly different (ie lesser) role.
