The world’s worst yet inexplicably popular arena jam band will perform at the home of the world’s worst yet inexplicably popular baseball team on Sept. 17 and 18, promoters Ticketmaster/Live Nation announced this morning. Lame singer-songwriter Jason Mraz opens.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, via www.tickets.com, with whom the Cubs have a long-term deal, thus denying Ticketmaster the opportunity to bilk consumers for its egregious “convenience” fees (though it remains to be seen whether tickets.com’s fees will be any less—and tickets are not being offered for sale at the box office). Prices are $85, $75, $65, and $49.50—though you are certain to get much less than you pay for.
