Another Democrat running for Illinois governor has released his income tax returns. Bob Daiber is a downstate regional schools superintendent who earned $158,000 dollars with his wife in 2016. He says that shows he represents the middle class, unlike his wealthy primary opponents, Chris Kennedy and JB Pritzker. Daiber also thinks Illinois residents earning less than $25,000 dollars a year should be taxed at 1 percent, while those making more than a million should be taxed at 6 percent. Other Democrats running are State Senator Daniel Biss, Tio Hardiman, and Robert Marshall.
