Robert Mueller is about to sit in the hot seat.

After months of negotiation, the former special counsel is scheduled to appear Wednesday morning before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees after being subpoenaed by House Democrats to testify. The stakes are high for both congressional Democrats and Republicans, as both sides will seek to craft their own narrative around the Mueller report.

WBEZ will air the hearings live starting at 7:30, covering the Morning Shift.

Morning Shift checks in with NPR national security editor Phil Ewing for what to expect in tomorrow’s committee hearings with Robert Mueller.
