There’s a debate brewing behind the scenes between two groups of people, each with its own vested interest in competing visions for the future of the Chicago riverfront. On the one side, you have developers who want to bring an aerial tram that would run along the Chicago river through the Loop and all the way to Navy Pier. On the other side, you have architecture boat tour operators who say such a tram would ruin the view. Plenty of other groups are weighing in as well on the proposed plan.
