The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists announced last week that humanity is at its most dangerous moment since the height of the Cold War.
The Bulletin’s famed “Doomsday Clock” was created in 1947 to alert us about the potential catastrophe of nuclear weapons.
On the occasion of the clock’s 70th anniversary, we speak with Rachel Bronson, the Bulletin’s executive director and publisher, about the current events that led to the Doomsday Clock being moved to two-and-a-half minutes to midnight.
