Yes, it’s true. Both Dog and Pony Theatre and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy are staging versions of Noah Haidle’s play Mr. Marmalade. It’s the first time his play has been seen in Chicago and joining us to tell us about it and the dueling productions are – who else?! – but our dueling critics Jonathan Abarbanel and Kelly Kleiman.

by The Dog and Pony Theatre Company is on stage at the Storefront Theater in Chicago through May 5. It’s also being done by Chemically Imbalanced Comedy at the Cornservatory Theater in Chicago through April 29.
