If you’re a job seeker, or looking to see what the market is like before putting in your notice at the current gig, your timing is pretty good. Unemployment is low in Chicago, and job opportunities are on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Chicago has seen over-the-year job growth every month since October 2010. And in the last year, the greater metropolitan area has gained more than 20,000 jobs.
