Lou Dickson believes passionately in protecting the environment, economic justice and workers’ rights. Her initiative, Evanston ReBuilding Warehouse, tries to accomplish all three. They sift through landfill to find discarded construction and building materials to be recycled and sold at lower cost. For our EcoHeroes segment, Dickson explains how she works for sustainability and creates employment and development opportunities for those struggling in her community.
