Our relatively “clean” drinking water in the U.S. has, for a long time, lead many to believe that the best place to clean our water may be at the local treatment plant. But EcoMyths Alliance says that may not be the case and that this year has seen “a sea change in how we understand and begin to better address nutrient pollution in the Great Lakes.” Kate Sackman from EcoMyths Alliance will talk about what she calls the “war on nutrient pollution” with Joel Brammeier, executive director at Alliance for the Great Lakes and Paul Botts, executive director of The Wetlands Initiative.
