Mayor Rahm Emanuel spent part of his Wednesday with famous television producer Dick Wolf as they celebrated record growth in Chicago’s film industry. 

Wolf is now the executive producer of four Chicago-based shows, including Chicago Fire and the new Chicago Justice. 

Emanuel says eight full time TV series will be filming in Chicago this year — and the film industry has brought in over $1 billion.
