The Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) is a faith-based consortium of medical facilities, medical professionals and supporters united to deliver healthcare and inspire hope in India, especially to the country’s poor.

EHA’s mandate has evolved over the years to address concerns beyond medical care such as climate change, shelter for impoverished and abused women, disaster management and human trafficking. 

Sunil Gokavi is a surgeon and executive director of EHA. He tells us about India’s numerous health challenges, including the country’s high rate of HIV/AIDS.
