The FAA just wrapped up four meetings this week where area residents weighed in on the noise and air pollution related to the expansion of O’Hare Airport. A lot of the debate circles around the elimination of two diagonal runways, the first of which closes in about a week. Our guest says closing them down is necessary to modernize the airport, but anti-noise activists have been loud in their opposition.
