When George Floyd was shot and killed by Minneapolis police, plenty of parents talked about it with their kids. Here in Chicago, Christopher Slaughter and his son Zachary toured the city photographing the art that appeared on the boarded up windows around the city. They’ve now turned those photographs into the book, “Boarded up Chicago: Storefront Images Days After the George Floyd Riots”
