Director Andrew Dosunmu’s film Mother of George focuses on the issue of infertility and its impact on a marriage. The film tells the story of a Nigerian couple in Brooklyn who are struggling to conceive a child- the wife wants to try Western treatments, the husband refuses. Film contributor Milos Stehlik and Stephanie Shonekan, a professor of Ethnomusicology and Black Studies at Missouri University, join us to discuss the film. (Photo: Flickr/mamaflavored)
