Alejandro Jodorowsky’s second autobiographical film, Endless Poetry was originally intended as a five-part series. The movie gives us a surreal peek into the life and family of the 88-year-old Chilean filmmaker as a young man. WBEZ Film Contributor and Facets Director, Milos Stehlik, tells us why he finds Jodorowsky’s film “striking,” “Freudian”, “episodic” and “self-indulgent”. The Chicago premier of Endless Poetry is Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Gene Siskel Film Center.
