Guillermo Arriaga is a Mexican novelist, film director, writer and producer. He’s in Chicago for a screening of his film Words With Gods, which is showing as part of the 2014 Chicago International Film Festival. The movie breaks down into nine segments, created by nine different directors. They struggle with questions about religion and faith from the perspectives of different people and their stories. Jerome McDonnell and Milos Stehlik , director of Facets Multimedia, sit down with Arriaga to discuss his film and career. His works include Amores Perros, 21 Grams, and Babel.
