If you’re a Chicagoan with a medical marijuana card, you’re going to have to head to the suburbs to buy your pot — at least for the time being. Of the eight dispensaries opening Monday for business, none are in the city. That’s expected to change over the next few weeks as the licensing process wraps up. One Chicago dispensary that’ll be opening up soon is Green Gate Compassion Center in Rogers Park. Bob Kingsley is its CEO. He’s also on the executive committee of the Medical Cannabis Alliance of Illinois, a trade association for cultivators and dispensaries.
