In early June, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel chose four new Board of Education members to replace those whose terms were ending. Three of the four that were replaced voted for the no-bid contract that sparked the federal investigation that led to the ouster of CPS chief Barbara Byrd-Bennett.
