The non-profit park advocacy organization, Friends of the Parks, plans to release an “Endangered Parks” list Monday afternoon. The list includes Chicago’s top 10 open spaces currently at risk of being threatened by infrastructure. The Lucas Museum has been under scrutiny recently and lands the number one spot on the list. Cassandra Francis, President of Friends of the Parks, joins us to talk about the other sites mentioned on the list and how the group plans to work with the Chicago Park District to raise awareness.
