Nicole Kawell created Chicago Dance Institute to use dance and music in promoting the social and emotional development of Chicago’s youth. 

Kawell saw an opportunity to expand her mission when she partnered with Worldwide Orphans (WWO) to raise funds and awareness to help vulnerable children in Kenscoff, Haiti. 

We talk with Kawell and physician and WWO founder, Jane Aronson, about their mission to help orphans in a mountain community south of Port-au-Prince.
