Two friends, Leia Johnson and Erika Wright, wanted to form a network of mothers that would help bring light and relief to the sufferings of mothers and their children around the world. They formed ‘Somebody’s Mama’ to create a space for empathy and action on issues like trafficking, maternal care and girls’ education.
