WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik joins us to talk about two films, the documentary Missing Picture and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Missing Picture is a memory-piece, the personal journey of a teenager in the Cambodian genocide directed by Rithy Panh. It was nominated for Best Foreign Language Oscar. Wes Anderson’s fantasy pastiche, The Grand Budapest Hotel, which uses an all-star cast in the pre-World War II, tells the story of the concierge of a middle-European Alpine hotel who has to clear his name.
