The host of Beat Latino on Vocalo, Catalina Maria Johnson, visits some of the biggest world music festivals. She shares her favorites on Wednesdays on Worldview during our Global Notes segment. This week she tells us about her trip to the Association of Performing Arts Professionals conference in New York a few weeks ago. It’s mostly a conference for industry insiders, so indie musicians put on their best shows in hopes of making it big.
