Soda Stereo is arguably one of the most influential bands to come out of Argentina. The three-man group was revolutionary in bringing an ever-evolving sound to alternative rock while becoming the first continent-spanning rock group in South America. Yet, despite their 15 year run, they were never able to achieve recognition in the United States. We talk to freelance journalist Ivan Favelevic about the impact Soda Stereo had on Latin American culture.
