The vast majority of migrants from Mexico and Central America come to the U.S. to escape extreme poverty and violence. Chicago Fair Trade (CFT) is partnering with the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALAAC) to present GlobalFest 2014. They want to educate people on how fair trade can improve lives and stabilize communities in Latin America.
