Motorola Mobility’s been sold to Lenovo. The 3,000 jobs located in Libertyville were set to move to the Merchandise Mart well before the sale, and that plan’s still in place. But the other side of Motorola-Motorola Solutions, with 20,000 employees based in Schaumburg-isn’t going anywhere.
