About one in 10 Americans over the age of 60 experience some kind of elder abuse. Here in Illinois, thousands of seniors reported such abuse within the past year. 

To protect aging adults from this ongoing issue, Gov. JB Pritzker unveiled a new statewide Elder Abuse Task Force this week. 

Morning Shift checks in with members of the new group about how they plan to combat elder abuse in Illinois.
