As Chicago gets ready to make a choice for mayor next month, we’re spending this whole week taking a hard look at Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s first term. We kicked off the Grading Rahm series Monday looking back at his record on jobs and the economy. Tuesday, we grade how well Emanuel has done with the city’s schools. Tuesday’s panel includes Linda Lenz, founder and publisher of the education magazine Catalyst Chicago, Greg Hinz, columnist at Crain’s Chicago Business, and Maudlyne Ihejirika, urban affairs reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times, grade the Mayor on his performance in the education sector.
