Many people know Randy Borman as the “gringo chief.” Borman is white, but as a son to American missionaries, he grew up in Ecuador’s rainforest among the Cofan Indians. He’s spent his life with the Cofan people, and has helped their territory grow to about a million acres. Borman joins us to discuss his upbringing and the past and future of the Cofan nation.
